13 Weeks and 3 Days

Today, Di and I had an ultrasound for the beginning of the second trimester.  The baby was healthy, 3 3/4 inches long, stong blood flow, 165 BPM, no signs of downsyndrome, and the baby has four chambers in it's little heart!  It was so awesome to watch my little guy do this thing and move around.  We got a DVD and I'll do my best to upload it to the site, if not, enjoy the pics!!

So Proud

I am so completely amazed by Cody's excitement to be a father! He may be more excited than I am. He never stops talking about what's about to come. He has picked playgrounds and fun places to take the baby, names have been picked, he watches ultrasound videos and birthing videos online, he looks at the presents we have received for the baby, and of course he talks and sings to my little baby bump. It's amazing to watch his excitement. I'm so proud and happy to be married to the best man, husband, (and daddy) in the world...

Second Trimester

Cody and I have been so excited thinking, praying, wishing, hoping, and talking about our new addition to the Brown family. Since we have so many family and friends far away from beautiful Arizona, we thought of a great way to show our experiences and pictures with everyone.

We have just about reached the second trimester (12 weeks) ! As you can see in my pregnancy photo, I'm growing a BIG BELLY already. I can't believe our little one is there....it's such a miracle! The ultrasound photos are only from 10 weeks, so the baby should be even bigger now. I will update with new ultrasound pictures in a couple of weeks.

Thank you to everyone who has already sent us baby gifts. There are a couple photos of the bassinet that we received at Christmas from my family. We are so excited to use it...about 6 months left!
