It looks like we have about 9-10 weeks until we are induced. I can't believe how big I am already. I can't imagine that my belly can get any bigger! We just received our first early baby shower gift from Grandma Julie, Aunt Sue, and Jules--our Eddie Bauer stroller and infant car seat, so adorable! We love it and can't wait to put Brody in!

Brody James Brown's room--A work in progress
The nursery is coming along! Thanks to my wonderful mom, we have a new crib and dresser for our precious Brody! We have a blue, white, and yellow jungle-themed room that will be ready for his homecoming! He is getting so strong that you can actually see him moving inside me by watching the bouncing and movement. His heartbeat is still strong at high 150's to mid 160's because he's constantly moving around! Enjoy the pics! About 10-11 more weeks to go!!!!

It's been, to say the least, a very difficult last 6 weeks due to my asthma and hole in my heart, preventing some oxygenated air into my lungs. However, Brody and I have survived and are thankfully home from the hospital. A couple of times, we were close to not being here anymore, but the Lord has saved me yet again! Thank you to so many of you who came to visit Cody, Brody, and I, calling us, and sending cards and gifts, and of course, for your prayers While it can still be quite difficult to breathe, bed rest at home can be a little bit more fun than in the hospital. Cody has been more than WONDERFUL through everything, helping me from cleaning and cooking to comforting and encouraging me. My mom has already been a huge help here at home because Cody is often at work.
Brody is doing great! He's kicking and rolling and growing so fast! When I have enough air, I sing to him lightly and I think I found out his favorite song to be, "My Favorite Things," because he really reacts to that song, as well, as Cody's made-up songs.
We are anxiously waiting for the next 3 months to be over so hopefully I can breathe a little easier we can meet BRODY JAMES! Cody and I can't stop thinking about being with him, what he looks like, what he'll be like, and everything about being parents to Brody.
Please keep praying for us as I still have quite a difficult time breathing even on oxygen and frequent breathing treatments.

19-week ultrasound-IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our Brody James is confirmed! We are definitely having a boy! Both Grandmas joined us at the ultrasound, so it was very special to watch our little guy move around and rub his eyes. It looks like he has Cody's eyes and Di's nose--he's going to be adorable. In 2 weeks, his face will be fully formed, so he is definitely taking our facial features already. We think he might be coming a little bit early because most babies at this age average 8.5 oz. but Brody is already 11 0z. He's growing so fast! Notice how much his legs have grown since the last ultrasound.
Practicing with the nieces and nephews...
Here are pics of Di and I getting ready for my sister's wedding that took place the day after the ultrasound. There are also some pics of our newphews and neice (1 of them) as we are getting ready to leave our house and go to the wedding. We loved having them around because they give us good practice to be parents:) As you can see, Di's belly is growing bigger and bigger every day, but she still managed to fit in her dress!

Brody James
At our last ultrasound, we found out that our little miracle is most likely a boy! They don't usually say anything until 18 weeks, but they gave us an early guess:) We have an ultrasound next Friday for a confirmation on that guess. Cody is extremely excited to be having a baby boy, and immediately named him, Brody James Brown. He likes that he came up with the name, "Brody," and that it rhymes with his own name. "James" is a family name: Cody's grandpa's name, my cousin's name, and my great-grandfather's name. We are both ecstatic to have a little boy, and my mom calls him, her "Little Piece of Heaven."
Just last week I started to have feelings of little bubbles, so his kicks are getting stronger. But, the most exciting part is that we can feel exactly where he falls asleep every night. He pushes his body up against my belly, either on the right side or beneath my belly button. Even, Cody can feel him and he's getting better. Sometimes Cody will poke at Brody a little bit and I'll feel him moving and then he'll pick a new spot and curl up to get cozy there:) I can feel him moving around whenever I'm singing to him or Cody is talking to him or reading books to Brody! He's too adorable for words!

13 Weeks and 3 Days
Today, Di and I had an ultrasound for the beginning of the second trimester. The baby was healthy, 3 3/4 inches long, stong blood flow, 165 BPM, no signs of downsyndrome, and the baby has four chambers in it's little heart! It was so awesome to watch my little guy do this thing and move around. We got a DVD and I'll do my best to upload it to the site, if not, enjoy the pics!!
